Outduro Scout

Scout 2026 takes place in a pine forest owned by Latvijas Valsts Meži, next to a lake called Vaskaris.

Scout was originally created as a traveling event. After a few years in one location, we move on to explore new landscapes and regions. Vaskaris represents what Scout was always meant to be: quiet, grounded, and closely connected to nature. ARRIVE & SETTLE Arrival at the campsite in the evening. Bikes roll in, tents go up, hammocks get tied. This is a slow beginning. Registration is simple. People settle into the forest, meet neighbors, and let the week behind them fade away. There is no rush to do anything yet. Scout begins when the camp feels alive. SCOUT CHALLENGE The morning starts together with the hoisting of the flag and the official opening of Scout. Teams are formed randomly. Maps are handed out. The Scout Challenge begins. Throughout the day, teams ride out, navigate, solve tasks, and work together. Speed does not matter. Cooperation does. In the evening, everyone returns to the same camp. Stories are shared, discussions begin, and the fire becomes the center again. The day ends by celebrating the Scout Challenge teams and awarding the yellow mugs that were earned, not given. LEARN & RIDE Saturday begins slower. Workshops take place in the morning, focusing on practical skills and shared knowledge. This is a day for learning, asking questions, and exchanging experience. After lunch, riders head out again. Choose between Pathfinder or Quest routes and spend the afternoon exploring. As the sun goes down, the camp comes back to life. Meals are shared, sauna heats up, conversations stretch long into the evening, and the fire stays lit. RIDE TOGETHER Sunday is about riding together, not pushing limits. Group rides are organized in different skill levels using Stegra. Each group rides at its own pace, enjoying the last hours on the bike. There is no rush to leave. People pack up slowly, say their goodbyes, and head home one by one. Scout does not end at the gate. It ends later, somewhere on the road.
